Rick Perry, 1 million jobs, and big oil

For those who have forgotten US elections are now bought, thanks to the Supreme Court, Rick Perry has proven once again that behind the scenes, big oil is in control, with the most recent promise of one million jobs for the stagnant American economy.

Taking his Texas jobs creation record of deception to a new level, Perry has promised one million new jobs for Americans willing to buy the schlock he’s selling, by way of increased domestic energy production. With a mainstream media sucking on a slice of pizza, it’s no wonder this latest announcement by the latest loud-mouthed politician from Texas seeking a higher calling would pass under the radar.

In the world of GOP presidential material, one truth is certain: there will be lies and deceit. Perry is surging in that category. Apparently, the mainstream media is as dumb as many Americans for failing to question why the currently not-working-as-governor Texas governor also noted the increased energy production could then be sold to foreign countries in need of such energy, even as Americans continue paying near record prices for gasoline. For people like Perry, and his supporters, duh moments are now a daily occurrence.

What Perry fails to mention, thanks to all that domestic energy production currently under way down in Texas, is that the state leads the nation in foul air production, as well.

But there’s Herman Cain, and he’s surging, you say? Think about the possibility of a 15- or 16-month election process and how it could possibly keep from becoming mundane for a large group of Americans so desperately wanting to regain control of the White House. How else to occupy their feeble minds than with a media-controlled months-on-end election process. He better be surging at some point.

Clearly, anyone who thinks the GOP will stand for four years of a black Republican president is delusional. History backs this up. All one has to do is look at the Repulsican party’s record on human rights and civil rights, especially for minorities. Most recently in history, all one has to do is remember three years ago when America’s sorry and ugly racial undertones resurfaced, thanks to the Great Opportunistic Party. Sorry, Mr. Cain, you’d be better off delivering pizzas.

Back to the mouth from Texas. With the election still a year away, it’s clear Perry’s announcement of one million new jobs for Americans searching for work is an early warning. It finally cometh, from big oil, letting us all know who our next useless president will be.

Unless, of course, Occupy Wall Street can gain a similar momentum as the successful Arab Spring has done.
